Step 1.

 Start off this first step by drawing out the shapes and guidelines of Bumblebee. First start with the shape of his head which is a small round circle. Now sketch in the guidelines for his face. Then you will need to draw a rounded diamond for his chest and then draw a large acorn shape for his crotch area. After that shape is drawn out you can start drawing out the shapes of his big bold arms, legs, hands, and feet. For his hands you will draw out the lining for the fingers as well. Hi right hand is in a fist frame and the left as you can see is open and ready to grab onto something. After his basic body frame is drawing out you can start drawing in the detailing and mechanical shapes on his body as you can see here. Use step one as a reference tool for the different shapes and lines.

Step 2.

 Now after you drew all out the detailed lines and shapes that are associated with the frame and structure of Bumblebee. You will now start detailing the face and the left side of his body. What you will want to do is enlarge the image so you can see all the detailing that needs to be drawn out. You will mainly do this on his bulky left arm and shoulder. After the left arm is filled with detailing and his head is drawn out as you see here, you can start working on his chest and right leg, foot, and arm. Also detail his crotch as well.

Step 3.

 Keep the step enlarged becasue you will still need to see all the detailing that needs to be sketched and drawn out. Starting with the face draw in the shapes of his eyes. Now start sketching in the detailing on his chest and finish off the left arm and hand. Using the guidelines that you drew in step one you should be able to draw out his fingers and hands nicely. After the left is done start detailing his left leg and foot also. Now move to the right and start drawing the detailing to the right side of his body like the top of his forearm and then his legs and foot. After you are done you can move to step four.

Step 4.

 What you want to do now is erase any visible guidelines that you drew in step one because the more detailing you add the more difficult to erase. You will now add more detailing by sketching in the lines and shapes needed to give this Autobot his powerful looking appearance. Just look at the image so you know where all the detailed lining belongs. After you are done and your sketch is good you can move to the last step.

Step 5.

 Just a few more detailing lines need to be drawn in herein step 5 as you can see. Finish and perfect your sketch here because this is the last step of drawing.

Step 6.

 After you sketch in all your shading and highlighting your sketched drawing should look like the one above. This tutorial is meant for advanced artist but may be attempted by anyone who wants to try. This will end the tutorial on how to draw Bumblebee Autobot from the Transformers.
